Best Buy will try to sell you the service policy, sure, but do they ever try to convince you you’re buying an inferior product in order to do so?

He then tried to sell me a battery for the camera. His claim was that the battery that came with it would only last 10 to 15 minutes. I said, “If that’s the case, then I don’t want this camera.” He told me about the rebate on this $99 battery and I continued to question him on his 10 to 15 minute battery life claim. He continued to assert that it would only last 10 to 15 minutes.

I then informed him that I would like to cancel this order.

Who ever heard of an online retail firm that called you up to harass you after you’d already made the purchase? Or, at least, who ever heard of one that ever did business again?

Update: I guess Best Buy doesn’t escape, either.
