What scares me most is that a highly-educated, usually eloquent person like you would use “grokked” in a sentence.
“Heinlein’s dead and I’m glad, I’m glad…”

It’s a tech term, Chuck. I’m a tech hanger-on. QED.

I understand fat cats. I don’t understand grokked. I truly am out of touch with popular culture, though I did remember most of the keywords from “Star Wars” that were in the headline.
As an editor, you need to know words such as “grokked.”
I’m hoping that there is more hair than fat, but doubt it. Wish I could grow fur all over and eat what I want!

“Grok” means “I understand it, I get it, and can now apply it” … I didn’t know it came from Robert Heinlein until just now, though.
