No Matter How Well It Worked Out in the End

You wouldn’t catch me hugging a man who had put a gun to my child’s head. Ever.

H/t the Hot Air headlines again, which I’m starting to think should be renamed Allah’s House of Fish in a Barrel.

  1. sarcasm

You can’t have a handgun in D.C. It’s illegal. Therefore the bad guy didn’t have a gun. It’s against the law. Problem solved!

    /sarcasm

…which is why the party probably went along with the “hug” since they, being law-abiding (unarmed) victims, didn’t want to risk him changing his mind. They were very fortunate.

  2. They were very fortunate.

True that. I guess if I needed to, I’d hug the guy … mouthing to my daughter to run next door and phone 911 over his shoulder.

That’s because you live in a free state, where you can own the kind of arms that aren’t (just) for hugging.

  4. Sure, I’d hug him…

…and grab the gun out of his sweatpants to hold him at bay while someone called the police to haul his nylon-clad butt to jail.

But seriously, people are psycho. Makes me wonder what was in that wine. If someone ever tries to rob me at gunpoint, I’ll fork over my money. You can’t get blood out of a turnip anyway.

And I’ve been considering buying some, too.

  6. This is obviously a divine miracle worked by God in His grace to protect 5 well-meaning and good but stupid sheeple from the wolf that showed up to their party.I would hope the people in question would use the incident as a useful lesson, but somehow I doubt it. Somehow I doubt the MSM will do so as well, leaving Allah & other bloggers to do so.
