Zagfan, thanks for commenting. Good luck ...

Anne, I'm right there with you on country post offices ... even if they don't have the postcards. I looked on their website yesterday and didn't see plain postcards ... I'll probably have to look again.

We have the greatest little post office out in the country. They're open weird hours but you can knock on the door and if they're there, they'll let you in.

They probably wouldn't have that many postcards on hand, though. They're nice and they only throw things where you can't see them, but they're not exactly well stocked.

Have you tried buying them online from USPS.com? I've had success with the website.

Funny, terrible story. I was hoping they didn't throw the packages where you can see them -- or where you can't.

Wow enlightenment. It just occurred to me that I'm not the only person in Oregon who can not receive any semblance of customer service from the USPS. I'm in the process of calling the 800 number to complain about the harassment I've been receiving from the Aloha post office. Trying to talk to the person in charge of customer service in Aloha is blatant waste of time. Good luck with something that seems simple. Postcards not in stock. What business would operate that way? What business would throw the customers packages IN PLAIN VIEW? And, what business defends it's poor treatment of customers and calls it customer service? Yikes.
