Clockwise or Counter?
According to this, I’m right-brained. Which I did not expect.

I looked at it, it was going clockwise. I read the words under it, looked up, and it was going counter clockwise. Now I can get it to go either way if I try.
Weird. At first I couldn’t imagine how it could be going the other way.

I just figured out how I did it. Scrolling down to where you can just see her feet and calves you can make it go either way, then scroll up and she’ll be going the way you envisioned.

Thank you. That was bothering me–I couldn’t even begin to see it the other way. Now I can. Which kind of throws out the right-brained thing, but whatever. There must be languaged-based tests for that that are more reliable.

I really don’t see how that is a real test at all, its much too simplistic.
Even a language test would be difficult to set up. I’d think an essay type problem solving test, or some sort of Rorschach test would be indicative of right-left.
On the other hand, I’ve read that all that right-left brain stuff is bull, and that people are either born with defects, or sustain injury to, one side of the brain and it has little or no effect.
There was this one girl whose brain was all squished up against her skull like a quarter inch thick, due to Hydrocephalus or something and she was completely normal and even above average intelligence. I can’t find her with some casual googling but here’s a man with the same thing:

So all this may be moot. I am right-handed, however, but I bat lefty. That means I’m a Libra and I don’t like scallions, if I remember my high-school Algebra theorums (or is it theora?) correctly. Nothing to do with hemispheres at all.

Actually there is only one correct answer.
When the raised foot does not have a reflection it means that it is closer to the viewer, and thus she can only be turning one way, counter clockwise, or from left to right. This is because the reflection is seen a being close to the viewer than the object being reflected and so it is off the bottom of the screen when it is closest.
If the picture were to be cropped so as not to have a reflection, such as if the figure were made to spin in air, then it truly could spin in either direction.
This Buzz kill is brought to you by a left brained, right minded, analytical, A personality. Sorry.
Well no, not too sorry. ;~)

Wow – thats nuts. It basically changes depending on what I’m doing. It initially was counter, then when I turned to look at something else it switched on me. Then when I went to type to someone in an IM window I could see it out of the corner of my eye as counter again.
Very cool though
