I smiled a little at that after hearing about the lines at bookstores when it first came out. Not that I'm dogging the fans, mind you. I've lined up for much, much sillier things. ...and I'm PROUD of my Happy Meal Toy Story XXV movie tie-in merch collectibles! ;-) My wife and I were shopping this weekend and we saw a stack of the new HP books probably 4 feet wide near the front door. One thing to keep in mind is that the books begin when Harry is turning eleven years old and end when he is seventeen, and their complexity increases accordingly, so don't be too put off by the fact that the earlier ones may seem a bit simplistic.
