Question: How do you eat a "Big Apple?"

Answer: One bite at a time.

I am jealous of the trip, Anwyn. Manhattan is one of the best places to visit in the world.

The closest I've ever been to Manhattan was when I watched "The Muppets Take Manhattan." Although this fabulous documentary is more than 20 years old now, I suspect it still provides an accurate description of what urban life must be like for singing and dancing frogs, pigs and bears on Broadway. Poignant stuff, that. In fact, it's Gonzo.

Man, I miss Manhattan. Who needs a car when everything the heart, stomach and mind desires is within walking distance?

I sometimes wonder if New York's pedestrian-friendly setup is one of the reasons why women there tend to be more thin. I'd love to be able to easily walk to bookstores, cafes, little markets and the museum!
